Is the baggage due to her work in the Bush Administration? I think politically the Republicans may want to play her against Hillary. After all, didn't they think that the disgruntled Hillary women would go for McCain because of his choice of a woman running mate in Palin? So they would say why not Condi, particularly because she is much better than Palin.

Just thinking out loud after reading somewhere that Condi may be in the running.
