Kim, I guess what's bothering me is that for months Maxam held the "high road", very conservative reporting, but lately shows behavior similar to IPM. We have seen the results of that model. The other thing is that the market isn't stupid, the stock isn't moving on the news. As Larry suggests, a stock that doesn't move up on good news is most likely going down. Not much fun if you're long. Long in the face of further decline keeps one on edge. I know, I can easily cure my position and state of mind.

MXAM is starting to resemble GPGI more than IPM, they're starting to use more of the "mad scientist" approach that heretofore has been GPGI's style. Maxam's cool, calm, engineering-driven approach that they've been using is what's gotten them where they are, and I think that's part of what is making Mr. Mazzarella nervous, as it is me also. Until now, I've thought I understood the reasons each was using their different style; now, I'm not so sure. We shall see.
