You bring up an interesting point that I mentioned last week but I got nothing but flames for it. Can you say "dumping"!!

These guy's don't play by the rules and will do anything to gain market share abroad will keeping thier makrets closed.

The more I read about the Sony HiFD the more I'm confident that this is a non-issue. The mere fact that it's backward compatible put's it in so many disadvantages that makes it a lost battle from the start. But who knows.
