TED-

>>> It appears that the Mega Merger is off. <<<

IHMO this is a blessing in disguise. If the Mega Merger terms would have been accepted, an enormous amount of real "work" would have been required to complete the merger.... and we can't do actual "work" now can we?

Back to doing nothing.... well sort of....

P.S. The punch card storage system is working well. Thanks for the imput.... I guess that is why you are the CEO.

TED, with all due respect, I can't understand why you're whining about the merger failure. I mean, we got the TransAmerica deal pushed through; the contractors got the building re-located only slightly overtime and only slighty overbudget (who would have known Sedona had such rigorous building codes).

But now we've got plenty of space for Janice to store 'traveling trinkets'; you've got a plethora of different offices where a comfortable nap can be taken; and 'tech' has plenty of windows from behind which a new identity can be assumed.

Heck, we've even got an expanded mailroom so that new Czech dude can fulfill all the mail-order inquiries for FBN clothing accessories. What's the worry?

...and about the 'Mac' comments earlier in the thread ... well, most FBN promo materials couldn't even be done without one. You see, one can either test their config skills, IRQ knowledge, and autoexec editing capabilities -- or they could just get some work done.
