I don't doubt you want the best for the country. My step-dad voted for Romney, but he also has what I consider unrealistic ideas about healthcare for everybody. From a moralistic point of view, I'm not opposed to universal healthcare, but paying for it, I question how viable it is. Also and getting away from the financial aspect which has been argued extensively, we face a critical shortage of physicians and healthcare providers and it is much more serious than the general public realizes. Medical schools have been holding down the number of graduates for decades and with the baby boom now beginning to retire, the acute shortage of doctors is going to become far more apparent.
