Eight years of Hussein will bring an end to the America I have loved and cherished.

He is elected. Get over it. America is not going to end because of it.

We got fifty states, pick one that is the most conservative and move there.

North Dakota has got a great economy and is pretty conservative.
Or the outback of Alaska if you have the pioneer spirit.

If those two places are too cold then you have the pick of several southern states.

Look its better now than it was in the 1930's
or consider 1940 with that socialist FDR just re-elected to his fourth term.

Medicine is way better now than ever before, and you got the internet.

So quit your griping.

Something I've noticed doing more since the election is making snarky comments and watching the reaction I get from others around me. Not sure why I've been doing it, but it's been fun to see the reaction I get most of the time. For instance, a couple of days ago I was in the eye clinic waiting room with my dad and noticed on the wall the doc had a degree from Harvard. So I remarked to my dad in the crowded waiting room "dad, check it out, looks like you're in good hands, the doc has a degree from Harvard". Then I added, "probably means he's a big time liberal too, I guess we'll just have to deal with that".

I swear, in the heart of liberal Obama land Connecticut, 80% of the waiting room attendees started laughing, especially the older folks.

A week ago, I was getting gas at the local station and remarked to a pumper on the other side of the pump, looks like gas is still stuck at 3.80 a gallon, I guess we should be grateful it came down from 4.15 a few weeks ago. He agreed with a sigh, then I added "we can thank those gloom and doom global warming wacko's for it remaining this high", and the guy looked miffed, and muffled something about supply and demand, so I kept at it and said "The Keystone pipeline could bring a lot of supply if Obama and his minions allowed it".

I guess we've all been dealing with the pain of realizing our fellow Americans are knuckleheads in our own way. And that's been mine for now...
