CJ, even a guy like yourself can recognize that deflation is a RESULT of recession or depression, not the cause of it. Straw man. I ever said it caused a depression, butt a deflationary spiral makes it worse. Just ask the Japanese. Recessions generally don't cause deflation, they generally cause disinflation, which is a decline in the rate of inflation. Deficit spending and quantitative easing has never lifted the economy out of recession. All it does is treat the symptom of deflation. Right, right. i-nodes script. No proof of it, and lots to the contrary, but what are facts?
