They are paying 1st quarter divvy in Dec., seemingly to avoid the tax issue. Doesn't matter to me, since I own ir in an iRA, but still a shareholder friendly move.

OSLO, Nov 26 (Reuters) - SEADRILL * Says not satisfied with the operational performance in the third quarter.

* The operational performance so far in the fourth quarter, while still being impacted by the subsea issues experienced in the third quarter, is trending back to normal

* Income from tender rig sale these funds are not likely to be distributed as extraordinary dividends, but are more likely to be used to support investments

SDRL goes ex-divvy today. Due to the double dividend, this might present a short term buying op for someone wanting to add or get in.
