CITY OF NEWBURGH — St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital's Nov. 15 announcement that nine people would be laid off as part of a 40-position cut came seven weeks after Catskill Regional Medical Center made a similar announcement, its affecting 25 employees. Dude!.. i stayed in this hospital once during an emergency...not a good one. Hospital administration has identified 10-million dollars in necessary cost savings. Isn't that the goal? Lower cost of health care? Seems to be the theme with the Keiser layoffs too.... Seriously man, you are reaching way out there for something to bitch about...it's unbecoming. Al
