Average federal tax increase would be $3500 next year. What the right wing blogosphere doesn't tell you is most of it will be paid by those at the top and the vast middle class would be hurt much more by rising gas prices or rising interest rates and rising RE taxes or increases in fees and licenses on a local and state level than the few hundred extra they might shell out to the IRS in a worst case scenario..
