Yep, just can't justify an IPad. The Kindle screen is very touch sensitive and requires a little getting acclimated to it. Agree with Gottfried that inexpensive stylus's work well and do last amazingly for several months. I see them in the stores for $10 and more and wonder why anyone would pay that much. Will check out the Nexus and many other tablets now available before deciding on the Kindle HD. The Kindle is not pure Android so as far as I can determine it comes up a little short on all of the available Android apps.
