Petroamerica spuds Las Maracas 6 and hosts institutional investors and research analysts at their Colombian operations 13 hours ago ca.finance.yahoo.com CALGARY, Nov. 26, 2012 /CNW/ - Petroamerica Oil Corp. (TSX-V: PTA.V - News) ("Petroamerica" or the "Company"), a junior oil and gas company operating in Colombia is pleased to announce the spud of the Las Maracas-6 appraisal well on Las Maracas Field, on November 21, 2012. The Las Maracas Field is located on the Los Ocarros Block in the Llanos Basin of Colombia, where Petroamerica holds a 50% working interest. The Company also hosted an institutional investors and research analysts visit in Colombia. The investor group was provided with an overview of the Las Maracas operations and the La Casona-1 discovery. They were also taken on a tour of a production facility, the Equion Cusiana Processing Facility and OCENSA oil pipeline. Colin Wagner, Petroamerica's CFO, commented "this has been a unique opportunity for Petroamerica to showcase to the investment world its success in Colombia. Having these investors and analysts see what we are doing on the ground shows how far the Company has come over the last eighteen months."
