Obama needed a distraction. Those who wanted more than anything to believe that Obama is doing the best he can and that everything Obama does wrong is President Bush's fault will believe anything the Administration says. While there is one African American woman named Rice who is competent to serve as Secretary of State and who was subjected to racial prejudice as soon as she was rumored to be a future Secretary of State, her first name is not Susan. That distinction belongs to Condoleezza. Here is a question that requires some thought. What if Obama is doing the best he can? What if he really is as unintelligent as his actions imply?
