I covered most of my shorts today, too many bears in this thread now. We might get a bounce short term, hope to be back shorting from higher level.

What a strange day!! Techs getting crushed (but you wouldn't know it by the general market action - Dow actually up 22 points). NAZ down 16 or so, giving a hint of what's happening. This driller bounce feels different than the ones before. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think we might be basing here. We're not going to move up fast again as that would be irrationally exhuberant. We may drift back to yesterday's lows, but I think they've stopped spanking us real hard for now.

Thean, I think the thread is very interested in what you post after you do this analysis, after the close tomorrow. In the meantime, the techs are getting abused today much the same way we've been pummelled in the past few weeks. What a roller coaster!! Many were up as much yesterday as they are down today. The osx(oilservice index)finished .02 off the high for the day.Looks good.there definetely was a solid move at the close.GD

Thean: assuming we rally again tommrrow or at least don't close below the open. What do your charts say for NE. I picked up some DEC 30's when the stock was in the 28's, I am trying to decide how long to hold until I sell 'em (not much time left). Resistance looks like it is at 33? Looks like we closed just on the downward trendline. Break that tomorrow and WOW! Hello S-T win column! I'm not a chartist. I only dabble in technical analysis, so your expertise would be appreciated. I prefer sure-things where I know the people in the co's.(gg) -Lucretius
