You have no idea what you are talking about... Have you ever held a job in defense or had to deal with defense contracting? I'm pretty sure not...

You make a big assumption when you say that congress will be cutting entitlements easily. As a general rule, every entity that is sucking money from the public troth is putting up defenses like poison pills to save themselves from cuts. When the Government signs a defense contract, the defense contractor will hire employees for long term work based on the contract. If the Government pulls the plug then they will have to pay termination fees.
