Of course she knows she is lying..she doesn't care either. I conjecture that she is a sociopath and this is why. Everybody lies. The best liars believe their story, an actor is a liar who lies best when he has become his character, as an example. The performance Ms Rice put on those 5 news shows was stunning, the way she re-asserted the lie, the way her voice rose at the right places with just the right amount of fire, her earnest replies as she leaned forward a little, this girl was not lying, she believed what she was saying. At the same time, whoever Ms. Rice is inside knew the real story, or at least enough of it. And she is not an actress and this is not a play. In fact, this is live TV with the cameras and lights and she did swell, not even a hint of the pressure that might bring to an average everyday liar like you and me. She is supremely confident of her ability to become the person who believes this story about a video, she is sure she is that much smarter than you and me. Coupled with reports of her personality at work, which I've only heard a hint of and have not paid a lot of attention to. IMO ARS Edit: Thanks Peter, I appreciate it.
