CJ, Granted each individual packet is small. But you want a continuous stream of them. And you would like them with very little latency. I've seen technologies that can monitor the use of appliances in real time simply by watching the energy usage signature from the metering box. Even then, the amount of data that needs to be transferred isn't all that much. As for latency, the only way that increased bandwidth will improve latency is if the bandwidth was already saturated to begin with. I guess if every household was downloading Netflix movies all at once ... Tenchusatsu
