BAY is down 3.5 in the last half hour of trading.By the time COMS reports,it will most probably go down to 20.The best investment in networking is by far CSCO.BAY is getting into last years trading range from the way its been trading lateley. What a bummer.

Dave-
Thanks for posting something sunny on this rainy day. Glad I took some profit on CSCO yesterday. But I think folks are getting too worked up about today's selloff, unpleasant as it is for those of us long on BAY. Bay is getting punished for CS and 3COM's problems- or am I missing something? I take it as a buying opportunity, which I think is reasonable for someone with long term time horizons (2+ years). Speaking of buying, can you lend me $12K? Kindly make the check out to L-a-u-r-e-n-c-e : note the 'u', please.

Larry

P.S. to Adam- OK, I'll propose a merry wager. I'll wager the value of one share of Bay's stock on the day we agree to the bet that Bay will do better than CSCO in 1998 (say from 2 Jan 1998 to 31 Dec. 1998). Email me if you are willing to accept the challenge!
