Well, Murphy's proposals won't be accepted by the Reps, at least not this incarnation.

His policy proposals, which, to my mind, are exactly right, are, as we all know, anathema to the present, very strong, base of the party. I don't see them giving up on them lightly; only after a couple of severe national political losses and much more evidence that the demographics are moving against them.

I gather most of the leading Rep voices are pointing to failure in the Romney campaign, some tweaking, and/or going more conservative as ways out around this problem. Those paths will have to be discredited.

I see you noticed the schism on PfP. LB seems to have become tired of hearing that Obama stole the election, wasn't really our president, this is the end of America, etc. and told his peeps to shut up about it and accept that Obama is president and beat Mitt fair and square, and it's NOT the "end of America". Got to give the man some cred for that.
