He's been saying the same thing for over a year now. Back in late 2011, he said we'd see the beginning of a recession by mid 2012, but that NBER would take another 6-9 months to call it. Now, he's coming back to show us data where the business cycle peaked in July and has been on a downward trajectory since then. NBER doesn't call recessions until 6-12 month after one occurs. So don't expect to get anything officially confirming ECRI was right until mid 2013 at the latest.

I think it's hilarious how you try so hard to ignore the data.
