clinton had nothing to do with the economy improving.

He was lucky to inherit an economy in full recovery. The double whamy minimum wage hike had set back the vibrant economy that President Reagan had unleashed and had already recovered by the time Clinton was winning the election. His gift to President GW Bush was the Clinton recession.
