That is ok. Biblical truth is all relative. You only need to follow the rules that seem good to you. Just follow the rules you feel like following. I mean, if you were to kill everybody who works on the Sabbath, you would be busy for several years--7 days a week. Then you would have to kill yourself. Otherwise God would not love you. No, that is not quite right. If you did not kill yourself for working on the Sabbath, God would love you even more because he is love. His love would get so strong at that point that he would send you straight to Hell for ETERNAL TORTURE!! Maybe eventually you would learn your lesson and become a better person!! I get my morality from the bible (where else? You cannot be moral, otherwise). So what is the moral life (other than killing homos, beating up your slaves appropriately, and stuff like that)? Well, the New Testament is really great for morality. Hate your father, mother, brother, sister, wife, and children. Do not accumulate any wealth. If you have accumulated wealth--give it away...ALL OF IT--and FAST! Give extra to people who steal from you. Always give to beggars. Never accept payment for your loans. Sell all your possessions and give alms. Never invite the rich to a feast because they could invite you back. Instead, invite the poor, the maimed, and the blind because they cannot repay you. Do everything you can to avoid any rewards on earth. This is how you earn and store rewards in heaven. Give alms in secret, fast in secret, pray in secret. If people see you being pious they might praise you and you would then forfeit praise in heaven. You can either get your rewards in heaven or earth--not both. Any rewards on earth are forfeited in heaven. Be a slave and a servant to all. If possible be like a child. Never resist if you are attacked. Allow yourself to be beaten and hurt. Your goal is to be completely powerless and if you resist robbers and attackers you may not reach that goal. Abandon your family and never look back. Don't even bother to bury them. The dead can bury their own. If possible, make yourself a eunuch. But if you are married you CANNOT get a divorce--not if you like Mark and Luke. But if you prefer reading Matthew you can get a divorce for something called "unchasity". If your hand is naughty, cut it off. If your eye is naughty--PLUCK PLUCK PLUCK. Follow the entire Laws of Moses 17 "Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfil them. 18 For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all is accomplished. 19 Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." Love God, Love your neighbor. Love your enemies. Eat the body of Jesus and drink his blood. That is about it. You will get to heaven with no dick, no hands, no eyes, no money, no clothes. And Jesus will be waiting for you there. You will recognise him. He will be the guy with no clothes, no hands, no eyes...and no dick.
