No. The term means those with money and an interest in seeing certain legislation passed that benefits them.

Like when the House was debating legislation that affected the tobacco industry and gave Boehner a stack of checks to hand out on the floor of the House.

The need for money in a campaign is causing all kinds of problems. Like the bundlers. But, at least we know who the bundlers for Obama were. Romney refused to release that information...
