denial or just plain distrust of anything government......with so many lies and bs it does make one skeptical of anything.......i have no idea, but i'd say the odds are more in line with propraganda by one group or another to profit handsomely from it

Yes people do deny theories when they have been unproven and especially when proponents of said theories intentionally suppress evidence that could conflict with their theory. Sounds logical to me. You havent forgotten climategate have you?
