Both sides (Romney and Obama) know exactly the extent to which they are going to have to compromise to get a deal inked. Personally, I'm sick and tired of seeing politicians positioning themselves instead of getting productive solutions hammered out. These two are models for the rest of the core ... I'd like to grab them both by the collars and throw them back in that lunch meeting room with orders to stay put until they work out their differences. I had two kids, close in age, who argued frequently as you could expect. So when they couldn't get along, I'd send them to their room with orders to stay there until one could give the other permission to come out. They always started out insisting that would never happen but ... They inevitably came up with perfect solutions for their conflicts every time.
