The ratio could be interpreted in a way that gold is so expensive that it buys a lot of equities. That's how I see it for now.

Okay... I took a good look at the daily gold chart and here's what I see... if the December gold closes tomorrow below 1693.70, then that would be a main model sell signal... the best hope for buying gold at the current level would be to see December gold trade below that price tomorrow and then close back up above that price tomorrow... if that happened, then I would say that gold bottomed... otherwise, a close tomorrow below that price is a confirmed sell signal and I will go short...
