There's no escaping the pain. The only real choice we have now is do we want it all at once or spread out over a longer run. My guess is our politicians will come up with some fake compromise that kicks the can down the road and doesn't do anything much. Of course, folks like you don't really understand what is going on, so you'll keep thinking that money printing and deficit spending is the path to prosperity.
