yes, Bernie Sanders actually runs as a 'socialist' and yet never has a problem getting re-elected apparently you have been brain-washed that socialism is an evil anti-american term... much like the term 'liberalism' or 'progressive' maybe you should cut down on the Fox news channel or whatever right wing diet you are feeding off of FDR was also a 'socialist' IMO and one of our greatest POTUS... I consider myself a liberal and social progressive but yet also a fiscal conservative if that is an "extremist" then so be it as far is this board is concerned, look around... how many political boards are nothing but right wing hate-mongers and liars and how many are actually liberal or progressive who stick to facts? the right wing nut jobs and liars outnumber the progressives by at least ten to one... just like right wing talk radio yes, i'm an extremist who prefers facts i'm also a big fan of Rachel Maddow... another evil liberal extremist i'm also a big fan of Elizabeth Warren... another extremist who defeated Scott Brown
