Because I don't believe in Trickle Down Economics as firmly as you do. If Obama wanted to bail out the 99%, then the best way to do it would have been to force the Big Banks to write down their mortgage assets to market value and negotiate a settlement with all house owners to lower their mortgages to below the market value of their houses. That would have been a direct benefit to the 99% and prevented many of them from losing their houses, especially as many of the foreclosures the Banks did were not even legal due to the MERS fraud. It would have also addressed the housing recovery very directly.

In a time of deflation, that would have been a very dangerous move.
