Nothing wrong with being naked whether in a colony or the equities market. It's that ABUSIVE naked shorting re equities that I take issue. I don't have a problem with 1 to 1. It's the no locate and then the piling on 5 to 1. Then again as I stated when I see it, I'll exploit it. That's how one catches a call leap with time but premium has been destroyed. Ex back in 1996. They took AMAT into the 24's. The 40's for a year plus out calls were 2. Things turned re the semi's and asia and ol AMAT went to 108 in Aug 1997 taking that call to 66 from 2. The stock went from 24 to 108 after having fallen from the 35 so back to the 108 was a nice hit whether at 35 or 24. But the homerun was on those leaps or 2 to 66.

Nowadays we don't see those types of moves. The 90's were unreal if one looks at the % moves for some equities. Dell, Ebay, are just a couple that were unreal % wise

Yet the point is when they sell em hard or they are attacked there will be great opportunities if one knows where to look.
