I don't think the people accepted the Pub's theory that doing so is "leading from the rear." We hear this cry from the world "America get out." But they love America to be the savior. And Obama "leads the country" is telling them "we are there when you need us" instead of "You folks need to do what we Americans say you should" That is dictatorship not leadership.
