So, because of the added risk of longer term, short term rates "should" be less than long term? Because short term is more attractive and so "needs" a lower rate I guess for people to buy them. Is that right?
And does that mean anything at all to the stock market? Or does the "inverting" or having it the "wrong way round" mean anything to stocks?
Incidentally, does Nextel have a mind of its own? It doesnt seem to go up and down with the market as many other stocks do. Any reason why?
