agreed! 8-)

At least they do address the high p/e.

A woman in another thread said KO is worth 50 x earnings for the simple reason is that is what it takes to get someone else to sell a share to you.
This is true. Then again, tulips once cost much more than they do today.. 8)
I read in the paper too that Nike shoes are being horded like tulips of old and you can pay $1000 for a pr of shoes with a mfg cost of $5 and an advertising cost of $10... Maybe we should be investing in fashionable sneakers? 8)

What I think many miss is these high p/e stocks just have too far to fall to make me feel comfortable putting new money into them. I REALLY wanted CSCO and had a target of $45 awhile back. It "only" dropped from $75 to $46 so I didn't pull the trigger, buying UTEK instead, but boy it sure looks like I was just a bit greedy as CSCO is now up near $90. Still, buying value has served me well and I don't like CSCO's high p/e.
