Your second chart understates the problem. The rest of the world is not so keen on creating corporations at drop of hat. As a result, the number of corporations as a percentage of GDP is a lot lower. I bet you Turkey and Estonia have a lot more mom and pop shops as a percentage of their economy than U.S.

EXACTLY!

If you are concerned at all about GW you should be in favor of a consumption tax.

Note also that Norway on your chart has a much better standard of living and average wage than does the US. But I'm unclear what your point is here?
