A question and a point.

First who is Oracle's investment bankers?

Second, something to think about the downgrade. Remember these security firms make money based on trading. Goldman makes a large part based on their trading for their own account. I have seen this scenario many times while working at a major brokerage firm. The will put out a downgrade and when the price falls, they will buy for their own account and their inventory. that is why you see heavy volume when this is announced and the price usually goes back up a point or two the next day.. this is due to the instituion buying back the stock for their own account at a lower price.
