Why do you care if they make it to 18k? I doubt its really important to anybody or to the company? What if its 17k, or 19k? Its an arbitrary number, a target number that they threw out a long time ago, based on a number of assumptions. I suspect GE has even less credibility among the analysts than he does on this board. p.s. And somehow I'm not at all surprised that GE couldn't even put a reliable completion date on the pipeline 1 month ago. So now its a week to 10 days? Multiply his best estimate by 3.14. I predict it doesn't get done before xmas.
