If that one doesn't fix it, try others. A friend of mine in the PC business said Housecalls is the best, but try several

ComboFix can cure some pretty strong ills. Not for the faint hearted.

Last week a friend got a very low level virus that redirected various sites to Google. AVG showed many infected programs and system processes, and could not cure it.

ComboFix cleaned it all up in five minutes.

It is sad that people with the talent needed to write sophisticated viruses put their skills into such terrible work. What a waste.

It does sound if you have picked up something nasty.

I know its obvious, but just in case its been missed.

Malwarebytes etc checks for malware not viruses.

Do you have an Anti Virus program installed such as Avast or MS Security Essentials?

If not instal one and complete at scan of your whole computer.

Make sure to check out these warnings from CNET on Combofix before running it. Not that they don't like it, but like one of our guys said: It's "not for the faint of heart."
