He obviously doesn't know about lead in petrol and elsewhere: <"Let me be clear. My own reading of the literature and study of paleoclimate suggests strongly that carbon dioxide from burning of fossil fuels will prove to be the greatest pollutant of human history. It is likely to have severe and detrimental effects on global climate." - Richard Muller, 2003>

On a local basis, he could consider the smogs of London and the current disgusting air of Beijing and China in general.

My own reading of the literature and study of climate suggests strongly that carbon dioxide from burning of fossil fuels will prove to be a great advantage in human history. It is likely to have substantial and advantageous effects on global climate and is having great and advantageous effects on food production. It's odd that he misunderstands The Science so badly. But he's in the cult and cultists have a limited point of view, which is why he said that Al Gore's lies/ignorance are A-okay.

"Dr. Richard Muller was financed by the Koch brothers"

Yup; I'll bet they are wishing they had their money back. It wasn't supposed to turn out that way. Really pissed off college dropout Watts, didn't he?

This is pretty interesting; sometimes evidence can break thru the wall of denial that Faux built. It just takes a heat wave, or drought, or cherry blossoms in Feb, or a 'cane, or just a flick. Too bad science isn't as compelling as bad weather.
