The move comes as Fox takes steps to rehab its image in the wake of Republican defeats this November. Rove, in particular, has been widely mocked by members of both parties, both for his onscreen tantrum and for the abysmal performance of his American Crossroads super PAC.

Fox News is fast becoming a national joke. Ailes had no choice to staunch the bleeding.

Our country is being killed and this thread is an excellent case on point. Repubs and Dems will to anything to conserve and bolster their party …interests of the people and the strategic interests of the country be damned consequentially.

There should be no doubt in any of our minds that in order navigate the current economic crisis, compromise and cooperation is essential. Taxes are needed to pay the deficit down and spending needs to be reduced … get it done … now, or we go down the drain.

We have boom times waiting in the long run (great natural resources and productive ingenuity is status quo for the next ten years) if we can survive this momentary blip, but it is beginning to look like we wont.

A pox on both your houses.
