Putting Obama on the defensive is definitely the best way to go. Heard an interesting idea on Hugh Hewitt's show tonight... From a caller in Mn. The tax code has 5 levels. Reduce the bottom 3 by 1 or 2 points ( tax cut for the MC) and leave the top 2 as is or bump them up to Clinton levels. Force Reid and O to counter that. * * *

Your post illustrates an important point for me. We are getting some great ideas from bloggers, pundits and citizens...and then they bubble up through the right wing media and we then hope that "Boner" will do this, or that. It's back asswards in many respects. Of course input is important but in the area of strategic moves or negotiation that should be in "Boners" wheelhouse...to be sprung on the unsuspecting opposition. It's about grabbing the narrative...and forcing outcomes toward your best available position for best outcome. What the hell? ...we are becoming so used to utter incompetence that we are starting to accept it as normal or something. And for another thing while I'm dangerously close to yet another rant...a "spray on tan" , or "tanning bed tan" is really the wrong message right now isn't it? In the category of symbolism...a well groomed tan is about a "0" on the 1-10 scale of a serious politician working for our interests in a very dangerous time of need. I want him pasty white, and nearly exhausted every day. And get rid of the GD pink tie as well. Get out your "blood red" tie Mr. "Boner". Wear it every day as a reminder that the tree of Liberty needs it's nourishment. And lastly Mr. "Boner"...tar and feathers go with tan and pink very, very, very well. What a mess.
