Turning productive farmland into asphalt... how cool is that?

Send this to him, and tell him Rat has made his farm profitable again. BTW, why does hay cost so much? Cuz we had a drought, worsened by AGW? Nah, that couldn't be...

"I didn't really expect them to come all the way out here in northern Iowa to start a wind farm. But this is really great. Now we grow corn on the ground and generate power in the air—all on the same piece of property."
—Delbert Watson, farmer near Clear Lake, Iowa, quoted in the Christian Science Monitor

You don't seem to get it. You cannot say that is socialism. All you can say that is someones decision.

How can you even think for a second all socialist's would do the same thing? Which is exactly what you are saying.

<<Oh and here's another problem with Socialism. Read the article below. Hay now costs more than the milk prices farmers can get from feeding the hay to the cow. So what is the Socialist's solution? Have the government set the price of milk with the M.I.L.C. farm bill. This drives more subsidies on unprofitable ventures that drives more malinvestment and higher deficits and more borrowing that we can't afford. Socialism is a failure.
