Are they suicidal?

No, they're confused RINO's.

The people that brought them victory in 2010 are the enemy. Boehner would rather carry Obama's lunch.

EDIT

I am really shocked at the number of people I know that I thought were staunchly conservative that snear at the TP and fiscal conservatism. The divisions in the party have been laid bare. There are those of us that are constitutionalists, fiscal conservatives, libertarians, whatever you want to call it. Then there are the country club Republicans that just want to go along to get along. They are just the enablers of the welfare state and are no help to the GOP or the country. They are part of the problem.

Why are they purging those who brought them victory in 2010? Are they suicidal?
Arrogant and suicidal, and out of touch

or

They are certain that the TP is dead or ineffective now, or that we will not remember this by the next election.

Regardless, if it stays this way, the Democrats will take full control in two years, with a wave like the Republicans have never seen before.
