It's impertinent of you to ignore that, for it was a backup to my point discrediting your assertion that the Antarctic is gaining mass.

I wasn't referring to whether the Antarctic ice sheet was gaining, or losing, mass.. And besides, to even gauge such a trend, one must have a pretty solid baseline for what the mass was at the beginning of the measurement..

I was referring to the RECORD LEVELS OF SEA ICE in the Antarctic, both in 2007 and in 2012.. It "seems" to demonstrate that Global Warming isn't quite as "global" as you would purport it to be..

Which means climate scientists still have a lot of questions to answer in explaining the discrepancy..
