The cause of rapid onset glaciation is not well understood, however, it can be stated with absolute certainty that it was not anthropogenic, and the next glaciation will not be either. You guys don't have a clue. There's no basis for any near term ice age. There is, however, for AGW... A scientific one. Any theory stating we are on the verge of an ice age is not consistent with mainstream science. You guys are just reaching for some excuse to ignore AGW and go on business as usual. You fear any action on AGW will interfere with businesses ability to conduct their affairs freely. That's the crux of it. It's nothing to do with the reality of the situation or the grave need for action.
