It's weird. They're obsessed with Alinsky. I am not sure I'd ever heard of Alinsky before I met some of the nuttier conservatives on SI, and I grew up in Orange County- which I thought was pretty repressed and redneck, until I started reading SI "conservatives". It's natural to mock people one thinks are idiots. I don't think anyone needed an expert for that (or maybe the wingnuts do, who can say? Maybe they are just so clueless, they can't discover anything on their own. That certainly is possible) At any rate, every Alinsky black helicopter moment makes me chuckle. I'd love it if the democrats/liberals were as effective as Spideyhole central thinks they are. It would be awesome if we were that large and in charge. :-) Are the wingnuts trying to make us happy and optimistic? Is that their evil plan? Make us too happy... I'm trying to see the downside. I'm not seeing it. I bet it's some kind of clever Alinsky mystery.
