Inode, I'm sure NYT had it buried even after it was front page news everywhere else... Their writers and editors were told not to talk about the Edwards scandal. Not even in their blogs. I remember it well. Tenchusatsu EDIT: It was the LATimes, not the NYTimes, who told their bloggers not to talk about the story. But the media silence was very noticeable. Even Salon.com had to mention it, though they think it was less about bias and more about a tabloid scooping everyone else.
