You bet I'm going to buy the Tesla Model X... 0 to 60 in 5.5 sec, seats 7 comfortably. Range of 300 mi. Costs around $7 to fill up. Price tag TBD, but I bet it'll be close to that of the Model S. This is just the start. They are a bit pricey now because the batteries are expensive. But, when Envia Systems puts out their 400 Wh/kg battery (will weigh about 500 lb for a 85 kWh or 300 mi range vehicle) in a few years, the price will drop substantially.
