CERTS are certificates for your stocks. In your hands, the MM's (market makers) can't borrow your shares to short in the market. They can write "naked" shorts, but they've got to cover that sooner or later. The more "naked" shorts they've got floating out there, the faster and higher the spike would be when there's a "shorts cover" going on. Love the lingo, don't ya.

By getting the certs, you diminish the "float".

Now that I've confused everyone, someone smarter on the thread can correct me.

Good hunting. By the way, I rode NCTI up and down a few times also. We've got real fundamentals here, so I'm just gonna keep adding until the cows come home.
