Merrill Lynch analyst Tom Kurlak is known for making very quick calls - then reversing them just as quickly - at least according to some other analysts in the industry. That was a big knock on him in a recent WSJ article. I don't put too much weight in what he says regarding the short term.

A number of analysts downgraded Altera today - after earnings warnings by several companies. I think, as usual, the horse is already out of the barn. When FSII hits $30 they will all yell "strong buy".

Best - Joe

Kent - The average Mircosoft employee now has paper profits of over $1 million in options. I wonder what the average FSII employee has as paper profits on their options? -g-
