your comments are interesting but you do not address the likelihood that certain analysts (Kurlak for instance) actually create or diminish demand for the stocks they follow and that their firms are first and foremost the beneficiaries of their "wisdom" since these firms are in every real sense the market makers in those securities.

Agree, and brought your post to the attention of Jill/SI. I don't think they would need to track results, just the changes in earnings estimates and recommendation, and the dates.
